Multiples of Ten
For a number to be a multiple of ten it has to end in a zero. (eg: 1760) is a multiple of ten because the last number is zero.
Multiples of nine
To know if a number is a multiple of nine you must add up all the digits and if the sum equals three or nine the whole number is, But if the sum equals a two or more digit number you add those up to get a sum of 3 or nine.
Multiples of eight
To find out multiples of 8 just look at the last three didgets and if they are divisable of 8 the whole number is, to find out if the last three didgets are divisable by 8 look at the last two didgets and if they are divisable by 4 the whole number is and if you still don't know cut that number in half and if it is divisable by 2 the whole number is.
Multiples of 5
For a number to be a multiple of five it has to end in a five or zero (eg: 5575 or 5570) because the last digit is five or zero.
Multiples of 4
To find out if a number is a multiple of four you look at the last TWO digits and if they are a number like 24,44,84 (any number that's a multiple of four).
Multiples of 3
To find out if a number is a multiple of three you must add up all the digits and if they equal three,six or nine and if you end up with a number like 65 you add those numbers up 6+5= 11 so 506 is not a multiple of three.
